The GMD project was initiated in Kyiv in 2022 by orthopaedic surgeon Bogdan Gryshchuk. The technology has since been used in 200+ clinical procedures in Ukraine, with an ISO 13485-certified quality system, and GMD-R is now established at Nexus, University of Leeds.
